Curses have been invoked on some leading members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), including the General Secretary of the NPP Mr. John Boadu by some disgruntled members of the party ahead of Parliamentary Primaries scheduled for June 20, 2020.

Explaining the impact of these curses, Nana Baffour Sumankwahene Asare Ababio, Chief Priest of Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II said the affected members may suffer flatulence or in a worst case, death if indeed they are guilty of the charges for which reason the curses were unleashed on them.
The ‘curse invokers’ are not happy that their favourite candidates who clear favourite to win the primaries have been disqualified on a frivolous premise.
Nana Baffour Sumankwahene Asare Ababio clearly explained in interview with Angel FM Accra that although other party leaders like John Boadu may not suffer the exact punishment of the curses invoked on them but may exhibit mild signs and symptoms of the curses if they are indeed guilty of the accusations levelled against them.
