In Folsom State Prison, convicts meet weekly for intensive group therapy. Twice a year, they invite members of the public to join them for a four-day session. McLeary follows three citizens—Charles, a bartender and father of three; Chris, a twenty-something museum associate; and Brian, a teacher’s assistant—during their session as they share in and experience catharsis simply by agreeing to participate in such a vulnerable activity. The Wi-Fi system / mesh market has turned out to be very attractive for gateway vendors, enabling them to have higher ASPs and more revenue per user. On the technical side, each platform vendor has their own proprietary mesh solution, and these solutions have been rendered non-interoperable further by tweaks from the vendors themselves. In 2018, the Wi-Fi Alliance weighed in with the EasyMesh standard that could allow equipment from different vendors to co-operate for a standards-based mesh networking functionality. Read More...

Unlike some prior events, reps were more than happy to let us get our grubby mits on the devices. Even going so far as to let us run benchmarks, as you can see, something often left until the PR reps are not looking.
